We travel for work, play, family, personal passions, and dreams. For me, travel is about learning and discovery, gaining fresh insights and perspectives. It’s empowering, invigorating, rejuvenating—and let’s be honest, it’s addictive!
At last count, I’ve explored nearly 100 cities across 30 countries (some more than ten times!). Yet, every trip still sparks the same sense of excitement, like a child going to her first birthday party—a mix of hope, thrill, and a touch of nervousness. That’s what makes travel so magical.
There are countless travel websites out there, but this one is for those who have reached meaningful milestones in life. Guess what? You’ve earned the right to travel well—and you should!
I created this journal to share the joys and adventures of travel, but more importantly, to encourage those who hesitate to venture out alone.
Too often, we wait for the perfect travel companion, only to realize that our dream trip may never happen. A long overdue visit to Venice? A once-in-a-lifetime chance to see the pyramids in Egypt? A dreamy picnic under Tokyo’s cherry blossoms? You don’t have to wait. You can go on that journey yourself. Yes, you can! Just take that first step.
Travel isn’t just about the places. It’s about the people you meet along the way. From the driver in India to the restaurant manager in Iceland to the guide in Vietnam, their stories have shaped my own journey. And they deserve to be shared
